Mexicans and Trails ...by Annie

We went on the Rio Grand Nature Trail. We walked up a mountain and looked down at the campground we were staying at. We saw things the Mexicans were selling. There were scorpions, bracelets, necklaces, road runners, walking sticks, and flowers. The things were made of copper wire which  made it neat.

We also went on Boquilla Nature trail and saw more Mexicans; even heard one named Victor singing. We went on a trail called Strawhouse. There was another one, Ore Terminal. We went on both. It was long and Hot. We walked 6-7 miles one day. We also went into a Canyon on the Strawhouse trail. It reminded me of when the Egyptians were walking in the wilderness. We saw the sunset rays on a mountain.  It was very pretty. It was like purple and pink mixed together.

The Big Bend National Park was a very fun place to go. The scenery was beautiful: mountains, cactus plants, and flowers.

    1. Hello A. Junell,
Thanks for leaving a comment. I enjoy getting comments!! I have not made any cookies. A propane oven and stove take longer than an electric oven and stove. I was just thinking about trying some cookies!! They are really fun to make, bake, and eat. I love and miss you!
      Love,
      Annie Rose
