Sunday morning we hiked partway up the Horsetail Falls trail to Ponytail Falls. We were impressed with the volume of water and it's resulting sound, and the fact that we walked behind the waterfall. What a neat perspective! On the way up we met a search & rescue crew that were picking up litter on the steep hill. They even repelled at one spot to get trash below. Then we moved down the Columbia River Gorge to tour Bonneville Dam and Fish Hatchery.
