Copper Creek Falls

Saturday June 1,  just us 2 couples four-wheeled up part of one of the Goat Mountains to an overlook.

Approximately 30 miles north of Bonners Ferry we drove to Copper Creek Falls. Only 1 mile or less from the Canadian border! First we ate a picnic lunch, then headed out on the Lower Loop Trail and Falls Overlook Trail.

Copper Creek Falls

always fascinating: rushing rapids

After the hike we got back in vehicles and drove down in the trench, a beautiful rich farmed valley. The men's carload went to check out a goat dairy. Kendra took us on through the trench to the other side, thinking they'd catch up with us. While we waited, we pulled into Myrtle Falls and trucked up there in half an hour (after water fountain & bathroom visits).

So the men didn't find the goat farm and came on home...ended up waiting on us!
