Monday May 20 we drove into the college town of Ellensburg to meet Shelly Kessler over her lunch hour. We left a little early so we could stop by Daily Bread Mercantile, a bakery, deli, bulk food store. We also strolled downtown past small shops and restaurants to the plaza.

We stopped at Grant & Melanie's for an hour or two. Grant & Shannon talked after washing our van. Melanie & I sat on the porch swing while the children played outside on the swingset.
Then to Carl & Lana & Dana Wray's. We had a nice time catching up with Dana and seeing her settled in a new spot and hearing the history of GB Ellensburg settlement. They served us a delicious hamburger supper.
